The rules and agreements that govern your use of Hayoppy

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Hayoppy. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hayoppy ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") governing your access to and use of the Hayoppy platform, including our website at hayoppy.com and any related mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

2 Description of Service

Hayoppy is an online marketplace that connects pet owners with pet care service providers in the Philippines. Our platform facilitates:

Discovery and booking of pet care services (boarding, grooming, training, sitting, etc.)

Communication between pet owners and service providers

Secure payment processing for booked services

Review and rating of completed services

Community features including lost & found, adoption, and forums

Hayoppy is a marketplace platform only. We do not directly provide pet care services and are not responsible for the actions or omissions of service providers or pet owners.

3 User Accounts

Account creation

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your information up to date.

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

One account per person

Each individual may maintain only one personal account. Business operators may maintain a separate business account.

Account verification

We may require identity verification before activating certain features. Providing false verification information is grounds for immediate termination.

4 Pet Owner Terms

As a pet owner using Hayoppy, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information about your pets, including health conditions, behavioral issues, and vaccination status

Ensure your pets are up to date on vaccinations required by the service provider

Disclose any known aggressive behavior or special needs before booking

Arrive on time for scheduled appointments and notify providers of cancellations in advance

Pay for services through the Hayoppy platform only — no off-platform payments

Leave honest and accurate reviews based on your genuine experience

Treat providers with respect and courtesy at all times

5 Provider Terms

As a service provider on Hayoppy, you agree to:

Provide accurate descriptions of your services, qualifications, and experience

Complete identity verification before your listings go live

Maintain all required permits, licenses, and certifications for your services

Provide services as described in your listings and honor confirmed bookings

Respond to booking requests within 24 hours

Maintain a safe environment appropriate for the care of animals

Not solicit off-platform payments or direct clients to competitors

Report any pet emergencies, injuries, or incidents to the owner immediately

Comply with all applicable Philippine laws and regulations

6 Payments & Fees

Platform fees

Independent providers are charged a 15% commission per completed booking. Business subscribers pay a monthly fee with no per-booking commission.

Payment processing

All payments are processed through PayMongo. We accept GCash, Maya, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.

Payout schedule

Earnings are released to providers 3–5 business days after a booking is marked complete.

Refunds

Refunds are processed according to the cancellation policy. Full refunds for cancellations made 48+ hours before the service.

Disputes

Payment disputes must be raised within 7 days of service completion. We investigate all disputes within 3–5 business days.

Taxes

You are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on income earned through the platform.

7 Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited on Hayoppy:

Providing false or misleading information in your profile or listings

Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior toward other users

Posting fake reviews or manipulating the review system

Soliciting or accepting off-platform payments

Sharing another user's personal information without consent

Using the platform to facilitate illegal activities

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions

Scraping, crawling, or automated data collection from the platform

Impersonating another person or organization

Uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

8 Intellectual Property

The Hayoppy platform, including its logo, design, code, and content, is owned by Hayoppy and protected by Philippine and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

By posting content on Hayoppy (photos, reviews, descriptions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform and in our marketing materials.

9 Disclaimers

Hayoppy is a marketplace platform. We do not employ service providers and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services offered on the platform.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform and are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime, technical issues, or third-party service failures.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Hayoppy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Hayoppy in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

12 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.

We encourage users to first attempt to resolve disputes through our support team before pursuing legal action.
